Bike Gravel - Stone Fun (Social Gravel/Level 1)

Gravel = a bike adapted for gravel and varied terrain. Experience the countryside outside the conurbation. For just under 3 hours we drive on less busy country roads and veer into dirt roads, easier trails and over smooth mountain slopes. We stop by for breaks and enjoy sea views, rock carvings, streams and quarries, and you will get acquainted with different types of substrates. We gather and adjust the bikes so that everyone sits comfortably. Of course, we will review how gears and brakes work, but also how you as a beginner can rethink slopes, goals for more cycling in everyday life, etc. Social gravel - when it's more important to enjoy. The participants' wishes, day form and the road team determine where we place the tour on a given day. Therefore, the surface, distance and height meters vary from time to time. We take breaks when necessary, and finish with lighter bike care. Three hours from gathering, until we part ways. You can use your own MTB, gravel or hybrid bike, or rent one through us.

Peace of mind. During the walk we explore unusual paths and passages that few find on their own. We do a mind-wandering in which we use all our senses — listening to the noise of the waves, feeling the scent of the sea and seaweed, and letting our gaze rest over the vast ocean. Traces of inland ice and quarries. We stop at the shelter of the cliffs for a break and listen to an inspiring guided tour about the history of Stångehuv, the unique geology of the nature reserve and the valuable donation of Calla Curman — a gift that has preserved this amazing landscape for the future. Carl and Calla Curman — the visionaries behind Lysekil's heydays Join us on an inspiring walk through Lysekil's most iconic environments, where history meets the magnificence of nature. We begin in the charming Havsbad area, where the swimming doctor Carl Curman with his dedication, ideas and network made Lysekil one of the country's most popular beach resorts. Royal visits, Fisheries exhibitions and the elegant (bathing) houses put the small west coast dyle on the map. Calla is perhaps best known as the one who saved Stångepää from the ravages of the stone industry, but her contributions to culture and nature extend far beyond that. She was language savvy, musical and had a strong will to make an impact. She made her mark on social life, both here in Lysekil and at home in Stockholm.
